Who we are looking for:

VML is seeking an Account Manager to support the day-to-day activities to creatively execute and produce client marketing programs for one of our largest clients in the CPG industry. You will be one of the client contacts on the account, ensuring client approvals are secured, client objectives are achieved, and timelines and budgets are met. You will communicate externally with the client(s) and internally with the project team to keep all apprised of project status, updates and changes.

What you’ll do:

Develop and maintain relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders pertinent to the account (cross-department teams, outside agency partners and clients)

Lead all status reports and calls with clients, agency partners and internal teams

Keep a pulse on competitive activity in the market.

Work collaboratively with our creative project managers to adhere to project timelines to get things done effectively and efficiently for clients

Maintain a pulse and have a thorough understanding of clients’ category and business

Look for opportunities, anticipate openings for initiatives, and plan for the unexpected

Build a good relationship with the client and become a trusted source in the company

Report to the Group Account Director to keep the team informed on the day-to-day work flow and progress of work/projects

Who you are:

Excellentcommunication skills, both verbal and written

Able to build relationships and collaborate across teams, departments, vendors and clients to successfully accomplish work

Strongattention to detail, organization, andprofessionalism

Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables simultaneously

Proactive approach andpositive attitude

What you’ll need:

2+ years of account management experience in an agency environment or similar.

Commerce, shopper marketing, or CPG account experience preferred.

Strongcommunicationskills(verbal and written) are a must.

Ability to work as a team and foster positive team spirit andcollaboration

Also have the ability to work independently when needed

High-level ability to multi-task and manage various tasks/projects effectively
