The Role:

Matik is looking for a marketing coordinator to be a founding member of the marketing team to help us drive revenue growth for the company. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and working closely with cross-functional teams, this person will have the opportunity to get experience in different aspects of marketing (content marketing, demand gen, product marketing, brand marketing, etc).

Responsibilities

Manage content creation for blogs, social media, and other media
Assist senior marketing team members with the coordination of marketing initiatives, and drive execution
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure website content is up-to-date and aligns with marketing goals
Plan prospect-facing meetings and events by identifying requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and helping coordinate outreach
Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data to determine the effectiveness of various marketing initiatives
Conduct market research, maintain research databases around competitors, and present on significant findings
Monitor marketing trends and company social media accounts
Maintain inventory of swag, including mailing of swag as needed and coordinate the creation of new materials when necessary
Evaluate and improve on current practices, automate common processes, and take the initiative to improve current business
Collaborate and work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure all initiatives are being completed to spec

Basic Qualifications

1-2 years of experience working at a software company
Ability to manage multiple projects and seek opportunities to support your colleagues with a can-do and follow-through attitude
Strong written communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
Adept at learning new platforms and technologies quickly
Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

Strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports

Location: This position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with the expectation to work from our San Francisco office 1 day per week (as needed) to manage swag inventory and other ad hoc projects.

Estimated salary range, depending on experience: $60,000 – $80,000 + equity + benefits
