The Director of Marketing / Hospital Liaison will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with the community and various referral sources to promote the services of our sub-acute skilled nursing facility. This role focuses on increasing referrals, admissions, and overall visibility of the facility.
Reports To:
Regional Director of Business Development
Key Responsibilities
Create and implement strategic marketing plans to promote the facility’s services to the community and healthcare providers.
Organize and attend community events, health fairs, and networking events to enhance the facility’s visibility.
Managing the facilities social media accounts and presence.
Build and sustain positive relationships with physicians, clinics, and other healthcare providers
Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospital discharge planners, social workers, case managers, and other key hospital staff.
Work closely with the admissions team to streamline the referral and admissions process.
Monitor and analyze referral patterns to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Serve as the facility’s representative at community meetings and events.
Develop partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and other community groups.
Provide education and information about the facility’s services to hospital staff, physicians, and community members.
Conduct tours and presentations for potential referral sources and their families.
Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute strategic plans for community and hospital relations.
Identify and pursue new opportunities for service expansion and partnership development.
Qualifications:
Preferably 1 year + of experience in healthcare marketing, public relations, or a related field, preferably in a skilled nursing or sub-acute facility.
Proven track record of successful relationship building and marketing within the healthcare sector.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft, Canva and/or Adobe.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to travel locally as needed.
