Onigilly Area Manager
We’re seeking a dynamic Area Manager to oversee multiple Onigilly locations—including our new Stonestown Shopping Center store—while championing our commitment to quality, service, and brand integrity. This role involves supervising General Managers and teams, driving financial goals, and ensuring seamless daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Oversight
Guide and support General Managers across multiple stores, ensuring top-tier food quality, cleanliness, and safety.
Foster a positive team culture by coaching managers, overseeing staff development, and maintaining Onigilly’s brand image.
Operational Excellence
Oversee scheduling, inventory, and budgeting to meet financial targets.
Coordinate with managers on checklists, training manuals, and best practices to keep operations efficient and consistent.
Ensure compliance with health, fire, labor, and branding regulations.
Customer Experience & Marketing
Investigate and resolve escalated guest concerns quickly and effectively.
Support local and company-wide marketing initiatives, promotions, and catering events to boost customer engagement.
Expansion & Growth
Lead new store openings, including staffing, training, and launch readiness.
Collaborate with the leadership team to implement new systems and continuously improve operational processes.
Schedule & Benefits
Work Schedule: ~50 hours/week (flexible for staffing or large events).
Benefits: Health insurance, paid sick leave, and PTO (5 days first year, +2 days each year, up to 10). Paid holidays when closed on major holidays.
Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of multi-unit or high-level restaurant management.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving; budgeting and inventory expertise; commitment to exceptional guest experiences.
