We are a fast-growing restaurant business in Studio City, CA, known for our innovative burger concept that started as a street vendor pop-up during COVID. Our social media accounts on all platforms have been managed in-house by ownership. Most of the foundational assets are already in place, and we are seeking a collaborative and creative individual to take these efforts to the next level. Your role will be to amplify and enhance our company’s digital presence.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to join our team. This individual will oversee the management of our company website, develop and execute effective marketing campaigns, and strengthen our brand presence across digital platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, deeply knowledgeable about the Los Angeles food scene and its culture, and stays aligned with current trends, movements, and campaigns in the restaurant industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Management: Update and maintain the company website to reflect current menu offerings, promotions, and events.
Optimize the website for user experience, SEO, and mobile compatibility.
Marketing & Outreach Campaigns: Design and execute targeted email and text message marketing campaigns to engage customers and drive sales.
Analyze campaign performance and refine strategies to achieve better results.
Social Media Management: Create, schedule, and publish engaging content for Instagram and TikTok that aligns with the brand’s voice and aesthetic.
Monitor social media trends and adjust content strategy to stay relevant and innovative.
Influencer & Professional Collaboration: Identify and reach out to local and national influencers and professionals for partnerships and promotions.
Build and nurture relationships to amplify brand visibility and reputation.
Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze website and social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns.
Provide regular reports with actionable insights to improve marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
Proficiency in managing websites using platforms like WordPress or Shopify.
Expertise in Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
Strong knowledge of email and text marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar).
Proficient knowledge of Photoshop for creating and editing high-quality visuals.
Familiarity with the Toast POS system, including its functionality for marketing and analytics.
Vast knowledge of the Los Angeles food scene culture, including current trends, movements, and campaigns in the restaurant industry.
Knowledge of how to format and design websites to ensure an attractive, user-friendly layout.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Creative mindset with a knack for storytelling and engaging content creation.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience with influencer marketing strategies and campaigns.
Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing best practices.
