Job DescriptionParticipates in the strategic development and creation of effective integrated marketing strategies to deliver, engaging relevant content while elevating the credibility of the Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants. With a focus on color, gifting, trend and fragrance categories, manages execution of total 360-degree modular consumer marketing campaigns, overseeing development of global creative, product marketing and branding assets. Conducts background research and competitive analysis and reviews metrics and KPIs, to support the Creative Brief, ensuring creative, marketing and branding assets are globally relevant and impactful, assets are delivered on time and on budget, sustaining the growth of the Company’s strategic priorities. Under the guidance of Senior Manager, leads and delegates projects.

Leads creative development from Briefing to Delivery, global coordination and communication to ensure maximum global adoption of corporate materials and assets including promotional and re-promotional tactics, video, social media, web, advertising, education designed to support the needs of regional partners, as well as support the Independent Beauty Consultant and her business. Manages multiple concurrent projects and connects all the dots across the department.

Builds influence and strong relationships with Regional Marketing, Global Product Management, Creative Services, Business Intelligence, and various department stakeholders, as well as senior management. Maintains open dialogue with regional partners to stay informed about market activities. Aggregates region needs and helps to adapt plans to deliver globally relevant materials in response to divergent regional objectives, market shifts and new opportunities. Highly developed communication skills are needed to manage the complexity of working across cultures and departments.

Conducts background research and competitive analysis and reviews metrics and KPIs, to support the Creative Brief, ensuring creative, marketing and branding assets are globally adopted, relevant and impactful, assets are delivered on time and on budget.

Provides metrics, tracks corporate program adoption across regions and initial analysis to Manager for global roll-up of analytics and program debriefs, contributing to a continuous improvement environment.

Communicates final delivered strategy and integrated marketing assets to regional partners to help simplify and increase adoption. Helps educate local markets and regional teams on standards as needed. Serves as Corporate point of contact over toolkits and other assets shipped to regional partners. Uses technology and advanced communication tools to insure global alignment with and adoption of corporate vision and materials.

As project owner on product and program launches, interacts with digital marketing team to drive consistency of offline and online creative needs as well as through ecommerce platforms.

Leads and manages a direct report, setting goals and objectives, and providing guidance and support.

5+ years

Supervisory Experience:

3+ years

Field of Experience:

Experience in corporate or agency advertising environment, with proven examples of successful marketing campaigns, or relevant experience in a more general marketing role. Agency, cosmetics and direct selling industry experience highly preferred.

Education:

Bachelor/University Degree
