We are seeking a dynamic and resilient Volunteer Manager to support the Deputy Director, Community & Volunteer Relations, and Events, in overseeing volunteer engagement strategies. This role focuses on implementing data-driven decisions, strengthening volunteer programs, and creating growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills and a passion for enhancing volunteer experiences. The Volunteer Manager will help manage volunteer recruitment, retention, recognition, and engagement, while fostering a collaborative volunteer ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning & Development:

Assist in overseeing volunteer engagement strategies aligned with organisational goals.

Support volunteer recruitment, retention, and recognition initiatives.

Identify opportunities for sustainable volunteer and donor engagement.

2. Data Collection & Analysis:

Help develop and maintain a robust Volunteer Management System for data collection and analysis.

Use insights to improve volunteer program effectiveness and inform future strategies.

Streamline volunteer operations with improved data management processes.

3. Volunteer Engagement & Ecosystem Development:

Strengthen relationships with volunteers, stakeholders, and partners.

Foster volunteer skill development and provide recognition opportunities.

Promote a volunteer-ecosystem mindset through cross-team collaboration.

4. Leadership & Capacity Building:

Lead group-based volunteer initiatives, ensuring integration into activities.

Provide leadership and mentorship to promote long-term engagement.

5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

Engage with stakeholders to build a strong volunteer ecosystem.

Contribute insights to the organization’s broader strategic objectives.

Requirements:

Degree holder with minimum 6years of experience in social service, volunteer, or community development.

Strong background in volunteer management, including recruitment, retention, and recognition.

Expertise in data management and analysis.

Excellent communication skills; proficiency in Chinese is an advantage.

High emotional intelligence (EQ) and relationship management skills.

Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects.
