What the role is:

Are you a storyteller with a knack for bringing out the lesser-known, the “soul” in stories to connect with audiences? Or are you an “influencer” with a strong interest and passion in sharing about what you love (hopefully heritage!) with others? We are interested to have you join the Strategic Communications and Digital team here at the National Heritage Board.

You will join a team who develops integrated communications strategies across PR, marketing and digital, including the strategic engagement of various stakeholders to maintain top-of-mind brand recall for NHB, and raise awareness of the importance and relevance of heritage and museums to Singaporeans.

You will also plan and implement PR and media engagements, and work on integrated campaigns to drive awareness of, and visitorship to, NHB’s various offerings such as festivals, trails, museums, cultural precincts, etc. You are an unconventional thinker willing to think outside the box and try new things, as well as a team player who can work within tight deadlines and handle multiple projects.

You have a keen interest in the museum and heritage sector and would like to contribute to this growing industry.

What you will be doing:

Plan, create and implement PR campaigns with the goal of raising awareness and

appreciation

of NHB and its

diverse

offerings. This includes media engagement and previews,

community engagement

tours, creation of social media content, etc.

Develop and maintain a strong relationship with media and content creators, keeping their interest in promoting the museum and its initiatives among their communities.

Manage all media and PR-related initiatives, as well as plan and launch integrated marketing campaigns.

Manage public feedback and queries across different

communication

channels.

What we are looking for:

Preferably at least 2 years of relevant experience in public relations, media management, and stakeholder and/or integrated marketing and digital campaign work.

Excellent

communication

, analytical and organisational skills.

Ability to operate in a

dynamic environment

and possess strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage across all levels, both internally and externally.

Passionate about and self-driven to discover new

communication

technologies, platforms, tools.

Good practical knowledge and use of design applications such as Canva, Photoshop and Illustrator is preferred.

Interest in the arts, museum and heritage sector.

Experience in

project management

and government procurement will be advantageous.
