I. Job Summary

The Marketing and Development Project Manager will provide project management for the Faith+Lead Marketing Team, digital platform, and mobile app for Faith+Lead, Luther Seminary’s innovative hub of learning opportunities and digital resources serving Christian communities and their leaders outside of degree programs.

II. Essential Functions

Identify project goals and scope, and ensure that projects will be completed on time, on budget, and within scope.
Proactively forecast and plan project work, identifying resources needed to complete projects against the defined project timelines and budgets.
Document, track, and manage deliverables, quality, and timelines for multiple marketing and web development projects simultaneously using the technical tools and processes used by Faith+Lead for cohesion across the department
Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) to collaborate and build strong relationships, sharing information (project status, changes, reports, budget, due dates, etc.) with team and stakeholders
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills to identify potential issues and proactively communicate with stakeholders on possible solutions
Passionate about listening, partnering, iterating, and improving
Excellent organization skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to learn software quickly
Intrinsically motivated; desire to own the project from beginning to end
Active contributor to both strategic, process, and creative discussions

III. Qualifications

Desired education and experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in experience; three to five years of previous experience as a PM, operational expert, or Event Manager
Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Excellent organizational skills, including a strong attention to detail and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices, web development concepts and terminology (especially WordPress), content management systems, and digital accessibility standards preferred
Proficiency with project management tools (Monday.com preferred) to maintain standardized project templates for recurring work, allocate resources, track milestones, create custom workflows, track budget, and visualize cross-team task dependencies
Strong listening, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
High intellectual curiosity, drive, determination, self-confidence, and persuasion skills
Thrive in a fast-paced environment where you work on multiple projects at once
Utilize the technical tools and processes used by Faith+Lead for cohesion across the department, including Monday.com and Hubspot
Familiarity with Christian organizations helpful

IV. Physical Demands

This is an office job that typically requires sitting for extended periods, often for the majority of the workday. Occasionally, standing may be necessary, such as when giving presentations or attending meetings. Light lifting may be required, such as lifting files, documents, or small office equipment, usually involving weights up to 10-20 pounds.

V. Work Environment

This position is primarily based in an office setting. The work environment is generally quiet and climate-controlled. Occasionally, there may be a need to attend meetings or give presentations, either in person or virtually. The role may also include the option for remote work, allowing flexibility to work from home or other locations as needed.

The pay range for this role is:
52,000 – 62,400 USD per year(Luther Seminary )
