Job Title: Communications Consultant/Account Manager
Location: Stanley, VA – Hybrid/Remote

Position Overview
We are looking for a versatile and proactive Communications Consultant to join our team. This role is ideal for a strong communicator who enjoys a mix of strategy and execution, is comfortable working directly with clients, and can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement communication strategies and PR campaigns tailored to client goals
Write and edit a variety of content, including press releases, op-eds, blog posts, social media content, and client communications
Build and maintain media lists; pitch stories and secure media placements
Conduct research and contribute to strategic planning for clients and new business proposals
Monitor media coverage and prepare regular reporting and insights
Support event planning, influencer outreach, and other engagement activities as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a communication-related field (PR, Digital Media, Marketing, etc.) is strongly preferred
2–4 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, journalism, or a related field preferred
Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Experience with media relations preferred – working knowledge of media databases (e.g., Muck Rack, Cision)
Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a desire to grow professionally

Pay: $15.00 – $25.00 per hour
