The Trade Marketing Specialist is responsible for leading the development and implementation of trade marketing campaigns. This includes overseeing media placements, guiding creative development, and managing timelines to ensure successful execution.

Essential Functions:

Oversees the development and implementation of trade marketing campaigns, encompassing media placements, creative development, and timeline management.
Ensures brand compliance in partner marketing materials and collaborates with creative teams to develop supporting assets. Writes and proofreads advertorials, email content, and ad copy, maintaining accuracy in offers, pricing, and sales details.
Oversees content strategy for internal site pages on the GoCCL.com Travel Agent portal, ensuring navigation, updates, and alignment with business goals and product announcements. Maintains the marketing library and creates engaging content to enhance user experience and drive trade partner engagement.
Oversees end-to-end project management for the development of Carnival’s annual Vacation brochure and Travel Advisor Ship Guide. Responsibilities include market research, cross-team content gathering, vendor relationships, order allocation, and final production.
Collaborates with sales, creative, and product teams to align trade marketing campaigns with business strategies and objectives. Offers creative input and guidance on marketing materials, ensuring consistency with brand identity and campaign goals.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field required
A minimum of 3 years of experience in executing marketing campaigns across various channels (print, digital, email, etc.)
In-depth knowledge and understanding in trade marketing, content creation, and ensuring brand consistency across digital and print materials in alignment with business goals
Proficient in managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Strong analytical skills with excellent verbal and written communication, proofreading, and copywriting abilities for creating clear and effective marketing content
Advertising Agency experience in account management preferred
Advanced Microsoft Office products skill, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams; proficient in other role-related tools, software, technologies, and applications required to successfully perform in this role
Preferred expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and proficiency in Content Management Systems (CMS)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Scope: Manage daily marketing activities for Carnival’s Strategic Partners and Key Accounts, collaborating with the Strategic Partnerships Team to develop strategies and align offers.
Impact: Supports initiatives for strategic partnerships, key accounts, and the development of Carnival’s annual vacation brochure and Travel Advisor Ship Guide.
Knowledge: Understanding of workplace policies and procedures/Familiarity with team collaboration tools and techniques. Skills: Strong time management and organizational skills Abilities: Ability to maintain reliable and consistent attendance/Capacity to be punctual and meet deadlines/Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and work as part of a team/Demonstrated professionalism in all interactions and tasks.

Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.

Travel: No or very little travel likely

Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.

Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 84 hours/year. All employees gain additional vacation time with further tenure.
Sick Time – All full-time employees receive 80 hours of sick time each year. Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 60 hours each year.
