Whole Foods Market is looking for an Associate E-Commerce Specialist to join our E-Commerce team in a full-time position. You’ll be responsible for executing e-commerce tasks, processes, and project deliverables across the full suite of Whole Foods Market’s E-Commerce experiences. You’ll ensure timely and accurate execution of configurations, data inputs and content updates in support of e-commerce business functions such as catalog, inventory, launch, topography, and site merchandising. You will also support the analysis of customer behavior, business performance and digital metrics to make recommendations for e-commerce process, program and customer experience improvements.
This role is based in Austin, TX, with an expectation of being in the downtown HQ office five days a week.
Responsibilities
Gains familiarity with e-commerce concepts, practices, and methodologies, including product catalog, site merchandising, inventory management tools, and e-commerce store configurations.
Supports efforts aligned with business needs, including launches, changes to configurations, and catalog updates, from planning through execution.
With guidance, learns to perform various functions in support of e-commerce execution.
Builds understanding of overall e-commerce business, including catalog architecture, item data structures, store configurations, etc.
Builds relationships with Operations, Marketing, Merchant, and other global, regional and store Team Members to support e-commerce processes, and document best practices. Develops positive working relationships with stakeholders internally and externally.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills
Familiar with or able to learn how eCommerce site merchandising, catalog, item data, and digital products work.
Familiarity with the digital, omnichannel and eCommerce landscape (i.e. digital experience, site merchandising, catalog management, product marketing, bricks-and-mortar retail, retail merchandising).
Able to use Microsoft Office applications (intermediate Excel experience expected).
Speaks, writes, and listens well.
Well-organized, able to multi-task, and adheres to deadlines.
Responds promptly and accurately to internal stakeholders and third-party vendors.
Understands necessity of tailoring communication to meet the needs of diverse audiences.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Builds working relationships with supported functional stakeholders.
Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
Able to plan and organize project activity in accordance with WFM and project-specific stakeholder expectations.
Education & Experience
BA/BS degree and 0-2 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
