The Impact You Will Make

In this position as Associate Media Director, you will be responsible for the negotiation and placement of linear TV and terrestrial radio across numerous clients. You are hands-on and willing to go the extra mile to ensure clients are positioned to thrive in a traditional environment. An ideal candidate will have buying and supervising experience as well as direct client exposure.

Salary Range: $100,000 – $115,000

Expectation to work from one of our offices (Chicago, DC, NYC, SF) at least 3 days a week

What the Day-to-Day Looks Like

Negotiate, assemble, order and maintain local linear TV and terrestrial radio placements on behalf of multiple clients

Meet with vendors to ensure best practices and new information is received and shared across multiple agency teams

Foster good working relationships across all client teams to facilitate flawless execution of plans

Meet with internal teams and clients as needed to portray a strong vision for how linear TV and terrestrial radio complement media plans

Act as senior-level agency point of contact for vendors

Requirements

What You Bring

8-10 Years local and national buying experience and 4+ years supervising. Client facing experience preferred

Passionate about the intersection of media, technology, creative, and have demonstrated experience with planning and buying local + national linear TV and terrestrial radio

Experience with CTV buying a plus

In-depth understanding of media buying strategy, negotiation, maintenance and performance analysis, including working with an auditor

Working knowledge of the difference between traditional and political (issue) rules and regulations

Thrives in fast paced environment with ability to manage multiple projects while prioritizing workload for themselves

Working knowledge of buying tools (Strata, SQAD, SRDS, Comscore)

Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc. plus knowledge of Google Sheets & Google Docs)
