Dann’s Discount Auto Sales is a well-established, family-owned independent dealership dedicated to providing top-quality vehicles and outstanding customer service. We are looking for a Sales Manager to lead our sales and finance operations, drive profitability, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with at least 3–5 years of automotive sales and finance management experience. This role requires expertise in desking deals, securing financing, and ensuring compliance with lender requirements while managing and motivating a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate must be able to lead the sales floor, handle finance approvals, and structure deals for maximum profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead the sales team to meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
Desk all deals, ensuring proper structure for profitability and lender approval.
Secure financing, submit applications, and finalize loan approvals with lenders.
Present menu-based financing options and ensure compliance with all regulations.
Oversee daily sales and finance operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
Recruit, train, and mentor sales associates on selling and finance best practices.
Work closely with lenders to maximize approval rates and competitive terms.
Monitor and manage dealership CRM tools (VinSolutions) and follow-up processes.
Analyze market trends and customer demand to optimize inventory selection.
Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and online reputation.
Collaborate with upper management to develop sales and finance strategies.
Handle customer concerns professionally and ensure quick resolutions.
Qualifications:
3–5 years of experience in automotive sales and finance management.
Proven ability to desk deals and secure competitive financing.
Strong leadership skills in coaching and developing a successful sales team.
Knowledge of automotive sales, finance, and CRM systems (VinSolutions).
Understanding of lender guidelines, credit applications, and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
Ability to analyze sales and finance data to improve performance.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
Compensation & Benefits:
Total Compensation: $90,000 – $150,000 per year (base salary + performance incentives).
Schedule:
One day off per week
One full weekend off per month
Paid Vacation: After one year.
