Job Summary: Social Media Coordinator | Contract | Hybrid
The Jarrell Company is the premiere resource for premium appliances, lighting, plumbing and decorative hardware in Dallas, TX. Inc. Seeking a Contract Social Media Coordinator (8-15hrs per week) to help increase engagement and boost foot traffic in-store by creating “sticky content” for use across Meta / YT / LinkedIn and TikTok platforms.
The role will support the VP of Marketing and Design with duties to include but not limited to:
Key Requirements:
This is a hybrid position that is 80% remote. Some on location/ in store time needed in Dallas, Grapevine, and Rockwall to capture photos and videos in our showrooms and for major events
Ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a creative skillset and a passion for storytelling, and proven experience in digital content creation
Proficiency with social and digital marketing platforms, tools, & analytics (Later.com, Meta Business)
Hands-on experience in short-form videography and content creation (Reels, YouTube Shorts, Podcast production etc.)
Self-motivated individual who is eager to learn and take direction
Stay atop of social trends – can bring new content ideas to team meetings
Flexible work schedule with some availability on weekends if needed
Weekly Tasks
Partner with creative lead and in-store sales team to produce and post cohesive and relevant content, including posts, stories, and reels 4-5X a week.
Develop and manage a comprehensive content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns, brand initiatives, and seasonal promotions and events for LinkedIn, META, and TikTok.
Edit and repurpose long-form video content for social media platforms as needed
Additional Skills
Comfortable producing content with Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop
Graphic Design experience a major plus
Photography experience a plus
Community Management:
Actively engage with followers and respond to direct messages, comments, and tagged photos across all platforms.
Data Analytics & Reporting:
Stay up to date with the latest trends on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, & YouTube
Able to conduct market research to identify potential brand partnerships and co-ops, sponsorship opportunities, and influencer paid endorsements in the Dallas Fort Worth Area
Willing to learn analytics or working knowledge of key social media performance metrics and strategies used to refine content creation and identify growth opportunities
Compensation:
Must be located in DFW and able to travel around metroplex to various showrooms if needed. (We have 3 Locations in DFW: Grapevine, Dallas, and Rockwall)
$20-25 per hour
8-15 hours per week (flexible schedule)
Month to Month Contract – Temp to Perm
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
Proven experience in social media content creation, digital content production, or digital marketing
Proven understanding of short-form video content creation for TikTok, META, and YouTube
Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must have High School Diploma or GED

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
