HOW YOU’LL HELP US KEEP CLIMBING (OVERVIEW & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)
The position will play a significant role in driving brand growth, developing a local NY partnership portfolio, and implementing B2C marketing activations in our most competitive coastal hubs and key focus markets. We are looking for a candidate that is proficient in marketing strategy and the sales eco-system, and comfortable working cross-functionally within a matrix environment. The team regularly collaborates with the B2C and B2B marketing and community affairs teams based in Atlanta at Delta’s corporate headquarters to develop and implement in-market events, local partnerships and marketing campaigns. Based at the NY Regional Sales office, the role will report to the Manager of Brand Growth and Partnerships in Los Angeles.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Develop long-range plan for cadence of NY Sales events and activations, including curating new partnerships and continuing to activate on existing sponsorships
Support and lead sales sponsored events to drive market-specific growth
Coordinate brand growth campaigns with a focus on local B2B/B2C messaging to drive customer loyalty and share growth, working in partnership with ATL-based teams
Serve as point-of-contact for select external sponsorship and community partners; network within communities as needed on behalf of Delta
Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional business teams to achieve shared goals of strengthening brand affinity and growing sales efficiency
Lead organization and assist with allocations of tickets and hospitality for NY Sales team
Support development and implementation of executive communication strategy for in-region sales leaders
Salary range is $53,100 – $152800 annually.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)
4-6 years of validated experience in a related field, such as Marketing, Sales, Communications, Partnership Development, Event Planning, etc.
Should be creative and innovative, with the ability to synthesize data and craft compelling stories
Project management experience with strong attention to detail; excellent organizational and planning skills and ability to self-motivate and prioritize since the rest of our team is based in Los Angeles
Experience collaborating on projects with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
Flexible and multi-task capable; able to quickly prioritize, identify issues, and propose solution options
Excellent written and oral communication skills with a crafted ability to tailor messages for both internal and external audiences
Comfort in addressing informal team meetings and delivering self-prepared presentations to internal/external audiences
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others successfully while also listening and taking direction from leaders and executives
Strong proven understanding of Microsoft Office Suite products including PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc.
Candidate is willing and able to travel as needed (up to 25%)
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS)
General knowledge of Delta’s network and comparative market position is a plus
Travel industry sales/marketing experience and an understanding of contract negotiation strategy
Ability to multi-task and lead several initiatives at one time
