Admissions & Marketing Director
Location: Bryan Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
Position Type: Full-Time
Bryan Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Admissions & Marketing Director to join our team. This position plays a critical role in driving census growth, building strong community relationships, and ensuring a smooth admissions process for our facility. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our residents and families while expanding our community presence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive Census Growth and Community Outreach
Actively promote Bryan Manor through external sales calls, networking, and community outreach to increase facility awareness and referrals.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospital discharge planners, social workers, medical professionals, senior organizations, and other community contacts.
Educate potential residents, families, and referral sources about our services and bed availability, ensuring our census goals are consistently met or exceeded.
Seek out new marketing opportunities and partnerships to generate referrals and increase community awareness.
2. Admissions Coordination
Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries, tours, and admissions. Provide exceptional customer service to potential residents and families.
Collaborate with the Administrator, Director of Nursing (DON), and Business Office Manager (BOM) to ensure smooth and efficient admissions processes.
Collect and document referral information from hospitals, family members, and other sources, ensuring a timely and professional response to all inquiries.
Coordinate the completion of all admission paperwork and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
3. Marketing Strategy and Community Presence
Represent Bryan Manor at community events, health fairs, and professional networking opportunities to promote our services.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to expand our referral base and retain existing partnerships.
Maintain a working knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and Managed Care processes to effectively communicate services to potential residents and referral sources.
Collaborate with the Regional Business Development Consultant and VP of Business Development to track and report monthly inquiry and admission trends.
4. Reporting and Documentation
Maintain accurate records of inquiries, admissions, discharges, and referrals.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports outlining census trends, marketing efforts, and outcomes.
Monitor and track referral sources to identify opportunities for continued growth and improvement.
5. Collaboration and Team Training
Work closely with facility leadership to ensure all admissions and marketing processes run smoothly.
Assist in training front-line staff to serve as back-up for tours, inquiries, and admission coordination when needed.
Provide guidance to the team regarding best practices in customer service and referral source relations.
6. Creative Marketing Initiatives
Collaborate with the facility and corporate team to develop marketing materials, including brochures, press releases, social media content, and advertisements.
Identify and implement creative marketing strategies that will set Bryan Manor apart from competitors in the community.
Qualifications:
Previous healthcare marketing and admissions experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or senior living setting is highly preferred.
Clinical background (RN, LVN, EMT, etc.) is highly desirable but not required.
Proven experience in building and maintaining referral relationships with hospitals, physicians, and community partners.
Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and other insurance reimbursement programs.
Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
Proficiency with computer systems and reporting tools.
Ability to work independently, set goals, and manage time effectively.
Willingness to travel locally for sales calls and community events.
Experience with designing or coordinating marketing materials, social media, and community event planning is a plus.
