ZEBRADOG (aka “ZD”), an experiential design studio, is looking for an experienced Marketing Coordinator, responsible for managing a variety of marketing efforts for our firm.
As our Marketing Coordinator, you should be a self-motivated, capable source for developing marketing content and materials, with the ability to manage promotional efforts across a variety of mediums.
To be effective, you must understand the type(s) of work we do, associated processes, and client groups we interface with. You must be a self-driven content creator, capable of designing and producing needed marketing materials, including project case studies, videos, firm overviews, and RFP materials. Your success will be directly measured by your ability to understand, develop, and elegantly communicate our story to our specific buying audiences. While the role requires ability to layout/generate marketing materials, you will have a level of support and resources available from our creative team for assistance.
Primary position responsibilities will include:
Work closely with Studio Leadership team to align marketing support with identified business development strategies
Develop key marketing pieces, including copy, photography, video content, RFP documentation, project case studies, and firm overview materials
Maintain / update studio portfolio on company website, and in electronic documentation
Seek out opportunities for leadership speaking engagements, articles, and project recognition
Your efforts will provide direct opportunity for our team to create significant, award-winning design transformations, that positively effect human experiences in a variety of public environments. You will be a part of a highly creative team, doing rewarding work every day. This position provides growth opportunities based on ability to successfully organize and manage marketing efforts and provide leadership with marketing support needed to create positive promotional momentum, ultimately leading to additional opportunity generation for our Studio.
Requirements
College-level degree in (one of); marketing, communication, business, or related
Experience in developing and updating marketing-based communications, including strong editorial and written communication skills, some level of graphic design ability, general familiarity with video and photography assets and mediums.
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud core tools for page layout and document creation/editing
Ability to use web CMS to update content on company website
Experience utilizing online social mediums for targeted professional service marketing
Awareness of design industry trends, competition, opportunities and areas of potential growth
Experience working with leadership team(s) to align business development strategies / solutions
Professional demeanor, and well-honed communication, collaboration, and relationship building skills
Exceptionally organized, self-motivated, ambitious, with a strong desire to be challenged
Bonus Skills (Non-Required)
Experience as marketing professional with architecture, engineering, or design firm
Photography, video production / editing experience
This is a full-time position, based in our Madison, WI studio. Our team prioritizes in-person collaboration, but we may be open to remote, hybrid, or part-time working arrangements with the right candidate.
Compensation commensurate with experience.
