JOB PURPOSE
This position is responsible for the development, implementation, and support of Annual Giving digital
fundraising strategies of the Piedmont Healthcare Foundation. This position will drive digital donor
acquisition efforts, build and manage online fundraising pages, create digital fundraising content, and
manage the email production process for fundraising communications. This role will execute unique, digital
strategies that will engage donors and prospects to support specific service lines and local hospitals,
increasing philanthropy across the full spectrum of the annual giving pipeline. This position will provide
support to all four Piedmont foundations. This position reports to the Director of Annual Giving. Maintains
knowledge of current events, healthcare trends and fundraising trends within the Piedmont system and
healthcare in general
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, Development, Business or a related field.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Three (3) years of professional work experience in development, marketing, communications, or a closely
related field is required.
Experience with a donor or customer database system is required.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated results in initiating relationships, cultivating interests, and securing support and
participation.
Experience with digital fundraising-related activities preferred.
Experience working in healthcare preferred.
Experience with research and analysis of data preferred.
Experience with editing collateral preferred.
