Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Content Creator to join our dynamic team. S.A.J. Gin is a Black woman-owned gin brand that is in the beginning stages of coming to market in New York starting in Brooklyn. The ideal candidate will have a passion for content curation and the ability to produce engaging, high-quality content across various platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, social media management, and e-commerce trends. The content creator will collaborate with marketing, public relations, and design teams to create compelling content that resonates with our audience.
Duties
Develop original content for social media, and other digital platforms.
Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and relevance of information.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create content that aligns with brand messaging and marketing strategies.
Manage social media accounts by scheduling posts and engaging with followers.
Proofread and edit content for clarity, grammar, and style consistency.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital marketing and public relations.
Assist in the development of e-commerce content that drives sales and enhances customer experience.
Requirements
Proven experience as a content creator or similar role with a strong portfolio of published work.
Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and strategies.
Experience in social media management and relevant management tools.
Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail.
Excellent research skills and the ability to write on various topics without stigmatizing any subject matter.
Knowledge of public relations principles is a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Formal education in marketing, public relations or any related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
Personal consumption of alcohol will never be required nor encouraged by the employer, but the candidate must be over the age of 21 to be able to enter certain alcohol-serving establishments for business purposes.
