This is a Los Angeles based position, you must be in Los Angeles or willing to move to Los Angeles. Relocation is available for the right candidate.
Role Overview:
The Brand Director will be pivotal to the execution of SKIMS’ brand marketing initiatives, with a strong focus in
project management
of product launches, campaigns, partnerships, and collaborations.
Reporting directly to the VP of Brand Marketing this role will manage a team and provide critical support to
leadership
. Â This position is more
project management
-focused than creative, requiring strong account management and communications skills; the Brand Director will serve as the main liaison with internal and external partners, ensuring seamless
communication
across all cross-functional channels.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Brand Marketing &
Project Management
· Serve as a critical project lead to support the execution of major brand initiatives
· Manage communications and work cross-functionally with Creative, Digital, Retail, PR, Product, and Legal teams
· Oversee marketing activations for partnerships and collaborations
· Develop comprehensive project plans that include timelines,
resource management
, and risk mitigation strategies, while facilitating
communication
across the organization
· Prepare and oversee the creation of presentations, reports, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and
precision
· Manage, prioritize, and curate agendas and topics that require timely decision making and analysis
Team Leadership
&
Collaboration
· Manage and mentor a team of two coordinators and one manager, fostering a
collaborative
and high-performing environment.
· Provide day-to-day
leadership
, ensuring team members are effectively managing projects and meeting deadlines.
· Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external agency partners
· Ensure high-quality
communication
and copywriting by reviewing and refining brand messaging across all channels.
Qualifications &
Experience:
· 8-10 years of experience in brand marketing, ideally within luxury, DTC, fashion, retail, or beauty industries.
· Strong background in
project management
, account management, and
team leadership
.
· Experience project managing large-scale brand campaigns, partnerships, and product launches.
· Experience as communications lead for external partners including, but not limited to agencies, vendors, talent and brand representatives
