Duties
The Department:The Brand Marketing Assistant role sits within the Brand Marketing team, a crucial component of the Marketing & External Relations department. This department is responsible for shaping and promoting City St George’s external profile and reputation, aligning with the University’s Strategic Plan.
The Role:Reporting to the Brand Marketing Manager, the Brand Marketing Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the development and implementation of a wide range of marketing initiatives and materials. This role is pivotal in engaging both our external and internal audiences, promoting the University’s brand and supporting various departmental objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Lead theproject managementof marketing campaigns and materials for various internal departments (e.g., Careers,Sustainability, City Sport), ensuring theireffective communicationwith target audiences.
Content Creation & Management:
Collate and edit copy, brief designers, manage amendment processes, and ensure the smooth production of marketing materials.
University Publications & Campaigns:
Assist in the development of University-wide publications and campaigns, contributing to their planning, execution, and impact.
Visual Asset Management:
Plan and coordinate photo and film shoots, manage the University’s image library, ensuring assets are readily accessible and consistent with brand guidelines.
Copywriting & Proofreading:
Develop and proofread marketing copy, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency.
Collaboration:
Liaise with colleagues across the University, fosteringpositive workingrelationships and ensuring alignment with project goals.
