Plant People is looking for a passionate, resourceful, and high-agency Brand Marketing Manager to join our fast-growing startup. In this role, you’ll own Plant People’s global relevancy presence, ensuring we’re a relevant brand within the health and wellness industry online and offline. We’re seeking someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, who is eager to strategize and execute on innovative ideas, and who can make a measurable impact on our business in terms of brand awareness, relevancy and community. You’ll have the opportunity to shape our brand’s growth, foster meaningful partnerships, and engage directly with our community, all while helping drive Plant People’s mission forward.

This role reports into our Director of Marketing and Founder / CEO.

Community & Brand Partnerships Development

Strategize, plan, and maintain Plant People’s B2B brand partnership roster by collaborating with complementary brands and cultivating partnerships that boost brand exposure, drive revenue, and ensure relevancy.

Partner with the Sales team to drive awareness, sales, and brand presence in industry leading wholesale accounts (Whole Foods Market, Erewhon, Target, etc.) through exciting and unique marketing campaigns.

Strategize, plan, and maintain relationships with influencers, communities, and ambassadors, spearheading outreach, communications, and partnerships to enhance brand exposure, drive revenue, and increase brand relevancy (in partnerships with our Digital Marketing Manager).

Events & Experiential

Develop and execute strategies for building an IRL (in real life) community, creating opportunities for connection and engagement with the Plant People tribe.

Lead the creation, planning, and execution of unique, exciting in-person events that engage the Plant People community.

Represent Plant People at external events to increase brand visibility and strengthen relationships within the health and wellness industry.

Develop plans for site-owned locations to activate, build, and scale local, urban communities.

Creative & Relevancy-Focused Marketing

Identify, plan, nurture and launch PR/communication campaigns internally and externally with a PR agency

Develop a strong understanding of the Plant People brand and create (independently or with collaborators) compelling, on-brand content for social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels.

Drive content creation strategies (independently or with collaborators), based on trends and unique, exciting marketing opportunities.

Assist with consumer-facing campaigns by writing briefs, creating copy, and managing the deployment process.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create limited-edition products, buzz-worthy campaigns, and gear drops for current and prospective communities.

Data-Driven Growth & Performance

Analyze social media and campaign performance metrics to provide insights and make data-backed recommendations for future content and marketing strategies.
