General Descriptions:
of Marketing/Sales is responsible for sales and marketing strategy development. Oversees all customer facing elements of the organization including Sales, Customer Service, and Sales Engineering. This is an exempt, salaried position. The individual in this position reports directly to the company president.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Managing the Customer Service Department by providing clear objectives and goals
Determine product demand and identify potential customers
Developing marketing strategies and reporting the outcome
Developing appropriate pricing policies
Streamlining departmental processes
Coordinate a schedule for sales visits
Out-of-state travel
Creating and maintaining sales literature
Analyze sales statistics to determine sales potential and customer preferences
Regular and consistent attendance
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
Overseeing Precision’s Web site and utilizing existing resources
Attend trade shows and conventions as needed
Other responsibilities as assigned
Prerequisite Qualifications:
Managerial Experience
5+ years experience of in-house and external sales and sales management
Coaching and delegating duties to Customer Service Supervisor
Excellent written and oral communication skills
In-depth knowledge of marketing and sales strategies
Working knowledge of the rubber industry
Proven skills in negotiation and salesmanship
