, excellence, and the success of the businesses we support. THE ROLE As a Business Development and Marketing Associate, you will be key to driving Sumer’s growth through

impactful

sales, marketing and partnership initiatives. From managing bid processes, to branding and thought

leadership

, coordinating events, awards, and communications, you’ll oversee a variety of projects that elevate our presence and the delivery of growth.

You’ll work closely with our Chief Client Officer and the

leadership

of our regional hubs to align efforts and deliver on our strategic goals. This is an incredible opportunity for an

entrepreneurial

, driven and proactive candidate to support the C-suite with the delivery of Sumer’s growth strategy whilst developing rounded commercial competencies. In this role, you will be exposed to the planning and execution of growth strategy at a top 20 professional service firm and the UK’s fastest growing accountancy practice.

Your key responsibilities may include:

Supporting bid processes by providing data analysis, content collation, and proposal preparation. Maintaining oversight of community initiatives, ensuring seamless administration and stakeholder engagement. Managing the end-to-end process of creating sales enablement collateral, working with our digital marketing lead, ensuring alignment with Sumer’s values and objectives. Coordinating thought

leadership

with centres of excellence to strengthen our marketing positioning in sector and service line specialisms Administering award submissions, league table entries, and similar

recognition programs

to build brand strength Planning, organizing, and executing events and association partnerships to enhance Sumer’s market presence.
