Job Overview

The Business Development Regional Manager will play a key role in driving growth and expanding our business footprint across the South region. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Clients, identifying new business opportunities, and executing strategies to meet sales targets. This is a leadership role requiring excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a deep understanding of the EdTech industry, and a track record of successful business development in the education sector.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth: Identify and generate new business opportunities by expanding our client base and partnerships with educational institutions, corporates, and other organizations.

Client Relationships: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients to ensure their satisfaction and promote further engagement with our services.

Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with external stakeholders to create and nurture strategic partnerships that align with our business goals and mission.

Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets, tracking leads, and converting prospects into loyal clients.

Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and market needs to identify opportunities for product and service enhancements.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and operations teams to align business development efforts with organizational goals and ensure seamless execution.

Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics to present to senior management.

Key Requirements

2-3 years in business development, sales, or a similar role, ideally within the EdTech or education sector.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to pitch ideas clearly and confidently.

Proven ability to build and nurture relationships with clients, institutions, and partners.

A proactive mindset with the ability to identify challenges and create effective solutions.

A collaborative approach with the ability to work cross-functionally with teams.

Comfort with using CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and other software to manage leads and track performance.

Preferred – A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or any relevant field.
