Scope & Detail

We are seeking a hands-on Creative Director to lead and actively contribute to our creative efforts in the experiential marketing industry. This role combines strategic leadership with direct involvement in concept development, design execution, and storytelling. You will play a key role in crafting memorable brand experiences for live events, trade shows, and activations by working closely with clients, internal teams, and vendors.

In addition to driving creative strategy, you’ll actively contribute to design work, ensuring all visual elements — from immersive environments and signage to digital content and promotional materials — align with client goals and deliver impactful experiences. You will also be responsible for creating, refining, and presenting compelling proposals for RFPs (Requests for Proposals) to win new business and showcase creative solutions.

Responsibilities:

7-10 years of experience in experiential marketing, agency, or production environments.
Lead and actively participate in the development of experiential marketing campaigns, including brainstorming, sketching, and designing key elements.
Create, refine, and present RFP responses that communicate innovative ideas, strategic insights, and impactful design solutions.
Work hands-on to develop concepts, mood boards, layouts, and presentation materials.
Collaborate with designers, producers, and project managers to ensure creative ideas are achievable within timelines and budgets.
Oversee and contribute to the design of physical spaces, including signage, OOH displays, interactive installations, and branded environments.
Ensure all creative outputs align with client objectives and deliver immersive brand experiences.
Provide direct feedback and mentorship to creative team members while remaining actively involved in the design process.
Manage multiple projects while balancing hands-on work with leadership duties.

Requirements and Skills:

Proven leadership experience in a creative role, with a strong portfolio of experiential marketing projects.
Demonstrated ability to contribute hands-on to design, concept development, and creative execution.
Strong experience creating, refining, and presenting RFPs to win new business.
Strong understanding of live event design, spatial planning, and audience engagement strategies.
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, or similar software.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas and lead client discussions.
Experience balancing creative vision with practical considerations like timelines, budgets, and logistics.
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or related field preferred.
