Position Overview
We are seeking an ambitious and outgoing Business Development Representative to help drive our growth. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about generating new business, closing deals , enjoys engaging with clients, and is eager to develop expertise in the energy and environmental services industries. The ideal candidate will work closely with our executive, marketing, technology and customer success teams to expand our reach, engage potential clients, and enhance customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
Attend industry conferences, networking events, and other business development functions.
Participate in all client meetings, ensuring thorough documentation and follow-ups.
Conduct cold outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to generate new business opportunities.
Follow up on inbound leads immediately to nurture potential client relationships.
Assist in developing and executing business development strategies.
Schedule and coordinate client meetings, ensuring key stakeholders attend.
Maintain and update company profiles on industry platforms such as Darcy Partners, Collide, and others.
Marketing Support
Assist the Marketing Coordinator in developing case studies and marketing campaigns.
Create engaging content for social media and other marketing channels to promote our solutions.
Support brand awareness initiatives and lead-generation efforts through strategic content marketing.
Customer Success
Develop an understanding of the customer journey and the value we provide to clients.
Participate in limited fieldwork to gain firsthand experience of our solutions in action.
Build working knowledge of regulations related to continuous monitoring in the oil and gas sector.
Attend customer meetings to ensure smooth communication and ongoing client satisfaction.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Deep interest in our product, the market, and the oil and gas industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, STEM, or a related field.
Outgoing and confident personality with strong communication skills.
Knowledge of CRM tools, preferably HubSpot.
Highly organized with a proactive approach to business development.
Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
