Candle Maker – Premium Pillar Candles (Startup Opportunity)
We are a new startup bringing premium, uniquely designed pillar candles to market, inspired by New York. We’ve been working on the design and testing phase, and we’re now preparing to launch and start selling. Our candles are made from organic soy wax, ensuring a high-quality, eco-friendly product. We’re looking for a skilled Candle Maker with experience in candle production, preferably pillar candles, to join our growing team.
Location:
The production space is being finalized but will likely be outside of Manhattan—potentially in Brooklyn or New Jersey—within 1 hour from the city. We are also aiming to open a second shop/office in Atlanta later this year.
Responsibilities:
Produce high-quality organic soy wax pillar candles using existing molds
Prepare candles for shipping, including wholesale, Etsy, and website orders
Maintain consistency in craftsmanship and quality control
Assist in setting up and optimizing the small-batch production process
Position Details:
1099 contract role
Starting at 20-30 hours per week, with the goal of reaching 40 hours per week quickly
