Job Duties
Career Alumni Relations Coordinator will Provide quality career advising and programming to alumni. Navigate students through the Career Development process by assisting students with identifying career opportunities and targeting meaningful professional options.
Minimum Qualifications
Demonstrated working knowledge of the career services field, career services resources, tools, information, and programs required.
Demonstrated experience in marketing career services to employers, maintaining Career Service Management (CSM) database, and Career Advising.
Demonstrated ability to market VSU Career Services to employers, faculty, staff, parents and other constituents for internship, employment, graduate/professional school opportunities.
Skillful in prospecting and recruiting employers and organizations for career opportunities. Demonstrated ability to create, present and facilitate career related workshops.
Demonstrated experience in project management, organization and time management skills.
Must exhibit excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Must be team oriented, collaborative and computer savvy.
Demonstrated experience with database management and/or career services software.
Strong PC Skills (Microsoft Office).
Strong communications skills.
Additional Considerations
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree Preferred but not Required.

This is a 2 year grant funded position. Continuous employment will be based upon renewal and availability of funds.
