Job Overview:
We are seeking a full-time, experienced Account Strategist to join our team. This is not an account management role – this position focuses on strategic growth, client success, and project management. The Account Strategist will be responsible for scaling client accounts, leading Google Ads and Facebook Ads media buyers, and ensuring smooth execution of marketing strategies across teams. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, leadership, and client-facing communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, working closely with clients and internal teams to achieve performance goals. You are responsible for both team and client success.
Stay up to date with industry trends, platform updates, and best practices across marketing channels. Use this knowledge to communicate opportunities, insights, and recommendations to clients.
Lead client calls and internal project management efforts, working with a pod/team of Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO, CRO, Analytics, and Email/SMS professionals to execute strategies effectively and ensure timely delivery of work and reporting.

You are hands-on – This is not a purely consultative role. You must be comfortable problem-solving, filling gaps, growth-hacking and learning new skills as needed.
You are a jack or jill of all trades, bringing a strategic and analytical mindset while relying on your team of experts for deep knowledge.
You have a background in digital marketing and experience building and optimizing full marketing funnels – you’ve pulled the levers yourself.
You are a strong communicator and highly organized. At work, you have a Type A personality and balance extroverted and introverted qualities.
What Does a Typical Week Look Like?
Monday: Internal meetings and project management.
Tuesday & Wednesday: Weekly or bi-weekly meetings with 6-8 total clients.
Throughout the week: Focus on work product, reporting, and organizing the team.
Time Allocation: 20% Planning/Strategy, 15% Prep, 30% Client Calls, 20% Execution, 15% Other.
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in digital marketing with an understanding of Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO, Affiliate, Email, and SMS. Familiarity with Shopify, WordPress, and basic HTML is a plus.
Ability to build an annual digital marketing plan with budgets, KPIs, and technology implementations. You should be able to self-audit and report on performance effectively.
Strong knowledge of marketing attribution and the ability to explain how various platforms measure performance differently and interact.
Ability to evaluate and recommend improvements to creative assets and ad copy in real-time, then communicate changes to clients or team members.
Capability to launch ad campaigns or troubleshoot conversion tracking issues if a team member is unavailable.
