PURPOSE OF JOB:

Channel competition analytics, translate brand strategy into effective channel strategy supporting the company’s sales and brand growth. This position will focus on creating best-in-class shopper activation programs with quality point-of-sale in-store.

MAJOR ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Channel Marketing Strategy

Lead the development and execution of channel plans across assigned channels where the brand is distributed.

Develop relevant and meaningful selling stories for retailers and customers.

Create an impactful and quality point of sales toolkit to support engaging in-store shopping experience.

Work closely with Brand marketing to ensure best-in-class translation of brand growth drivers and strategies into shopper tools.

Partner with Sales teams to provide tools that will address market gaps with opportunities and customer expectations in the most relevant and successful way.

Seek the most innovative and most successful Shopper support tools through regular store checks, detailed analysis, and promotions from competitors and Heineken and support client visits.

Develop a tailored and compelling communications initiative to drive the commercial objectives and customer-focus strategy.

Effectively communicate support to the Sales team on a regular basis.

Engage with customers to help secure Heineken strategic partnerships.

Commercial Alignment to measure and ensure deliverables

Channel marketing manager is required to support the commercial team on a project basis and is responsible for managing time effectively to comply with the trade marketing development policy.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

5 year and above working experience in marketing or trade marketing with FMCG industries.

Sales experience is a plus.

A strong understanding of Hyper/Super channel.

Bachelor’s degree or above.

Good command of English in writing and speaking.

JOB-RELATED KNOWLEDGE/ SPECIFIC SKILLS

Strong in MS Office tools.

Sensitive with number.

Good interpersonal skills to communicate and work together with cross-functional stakeholders and the ability to influence others is also essential.
