General objective of the job:
Lead the company’s strategic and operational operations in the production and distribution of asphalt products, with a focus on improving operational efficiency, promoting sustainable growth, and ensuring compliance with environmental and quality standards.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
1.Strategic planning and development:
• Develop and implement a long-term strategic vision to achieve growth and increase market share.
• Develop operational business plans in line with profitability and sustainable development goals.
2.Production and operation management:
• Supervise production operations to ensure the quality of asphalt products.
• Improve production processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
3.Quality assurance and adherence to standards:
• Apply quality and safety standards at all stages of production.
• Ensure compliance with local and international environmental and health regulations.
4.Developing Business Relationships and Partnerships:
• Building strong relationships with suppliers, customers and contractors.
• Negotiating contracts and participating in tenders to ensure profitability.
5. Team and Human Resources Management:
• Leading the senior management team and developing leadership skills of employees.
• Promoting a positive work environment and motivating high performance.
6.Financial Analysis and Budget Management:
• Preparing budgets and financial business plans and analysing financial performance reports.
• Managing costs and monitoring cash flows to ensure financial targets are achieved.
7.Marketing and Business Development:
• Implementing marketing strategies to promote the company’s brand and products.
• Exploring new growth opportunities such as major infrastructure projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred). • At least 10 years of experiencein managing industrial operations,preferably in the asphalt or building materials sector.
• Experience in strategic leadership and project management.
• In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and industry standards related to asphalt. Personal Qualities:
