Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing initiatives in the highly competitive residential replacement carpet and flooring industry. This role is critical in driving customer acquisition, enhancing the customer journey, and building a trusted brand that resonates with homeowners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in direct-to-consumer marketing and experience driving growth in service-based industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and execute a marketing strategy focused on driving direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales for residential flooring and carpet replacement.
Align marketing goals with business objectives to increase lead generation, conversion rates, and market share.

Brand Development

Build and strengthen the company’s brand as the top choice for residential flooring and carpet installation.
Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, including advertising, sales materials, and online platforms.

Customer Insights & Experience

Leverage customer data and market research to identify homeowner needs and trends.
Optimize the customer experience, from initial inquiry through post-installation, to drive satisfaction, loyalty, and referrals.

Lead Generation & Conversion

Develop and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate high-quality leads through digital advertising, direct mail, TV, and other traditional and digital mediums.
Work closely with sales teams to optimize the lead handoff process and ensure alignment on conversion strategies.

Digital Marketing Excellence

Drive the company’s online presence, including website optimization, SEO/SEM, and social media marketing.
Implement targeted digital campaigns to reach homeowners in key markets, leveraging PPC, retargeting, and email marketing.

Team Leadership

Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering collaboration and creativity.
Empower the team to stay ahead of trends in DTC marketing and customer engagement.

Partnerships & Collaboration

Collaborate with product and operations teams to align messaging with installation capabilities and timelines.
Build strategic partnerships with third-party lead generation platforms and agencies to amplify outreach.

Performance Measurement

Set and monitor KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, lead conversion rates, and ROI.
Use data analytics tools to continuously improve marketing performance and adapt to market demands.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
8+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably in home services, residential installations, or direct-to-consumer industries.
Proven track record of building brands and delivering measurable growth in customer acquisition and retention.
Expertise in digital marketing, performance marketing, and lead generation strategies.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a results-driven team.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience working with executive teams.

Pay: $175,000.00 – $250,000.00 per year
