About the Role:
Valley Aesthetics Institute is seeking an experienced Chief Operations Officer (COO) to oversee the day-to-day management of our rapidly growing multi-site and multi-service aesthetic medicine practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader with experience launching and growing multiple business service lines. The COO will play a critical role in implementing the CEO’s vision and executing business strategies across all service lines, including Medical/Cosmetic Dermatology, Weight Loss, Hormone Replacement Therapy, and Plastic Surgery.
The COO will work closely with the accounting and legal teams, manage quarterly projections, and roll out marketing strategies across multiple quarters and years to drive success in patient acquisition and retention, operations, and overall growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Oversight: Manage and oversee the entire operation, ensuring all service lines (Aesthetic Medicine, Med Spa, Dermatology, Weight Loss, Hormone Replacement, and Plastic Surgery) are running efficiently and meeting performance goals.
Execution of Company Vision: Implement the strategic plan and vision ensuring alignment across all business areas.
Financial Management: Work with the accounting team on financial oversight, including quarterly projections, budgeting, and forecasting. Ensure financial performance aligns with growth objectives.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the legal team to ensure all business practices comply with relevant regulations.
Marketing and Growth Strategy: Develop and execute marketing and patient acquisition strategies to drive patient growth across all service lines. Oversee the rollout of marketing plans across multiple quarters and years.
Employee Recruitment and Retention: Lead recruitment efforts, building and retaining a high-performing team. Foster a positive culture that drives employee satisfaction and reduces turnover.
Operational Efficiency: Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, equipment purchases, staffing, billing, and insurance coordination. Ensure seamless operational workflows that support business growth.
Business Expansion: Develop strategies for scaling the business and launching new service lines, focusing on sustainable growth and profitability.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: Proven experience as an operations officer, or in senior leadership roles, with a track record of successfully launching and scaling multiple service lines in small to midsize medical, aesthetic, or wellness businesses.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of marketing strategy, patient acquisition, employee recruitment and retention, equipment procurement, and billing and insurance processes.
Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and lead teams across multiple locations.
Financial Acumen: Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial oversight.
Industry Experience: Previous experience in the aesthetics, medical, or wellness space is preferred.
Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically and implement long-term plans while balancing day-to-day operations.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with a variety of stakeholders, including executives, teams, and external partners.
