Overview:
We’re looking for a skilled and versatile Social Media Manager to manage and grow the social media presence of two distinct brands. The ideal candidate is a “Swiss army knife” with experience in social media strategy and hands-on execution, and a strong understanding of personal branding, coaching, and author-related content. You should be able to handle everything from account clean-up to content planning and execution, with an eye on performance and growth.
Responsibilities:
Account Clean-Up and Organization:
Audit all current social media accounts to remove outdated or irrelevant content.
Ensure brand consistency across platforms (profile photos, bios, highlights, etc.).
Content Review and Planning:
Review and organize existing library of recorded videos, photos, and written content.
Identify high-value content for repurposing.
Develop a cohesive content plan that aligns with both brands.
Execution and Posting:
Schedule and publish posts across relevant platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
Coordinate post-production needs (video editing, graphic design, captions) by outsourcing to third parties when necessary.
Engagement and Monitoring:
Respond to comments, messages, and interactions to foster community engagement.
Track performance metrics and adjust strategy as needed to improve reach and engagement.
Reporting and Strategic Input:
Provide weekly updates on progress and analytics.
Offer recommendations for improving content strategy based on performance data and trends.
Ideal Candidate:
A “Swiss army knife” with strong social media strategy and execution skills.
Experience with personal branding, coaching, or author-related content.
Proficiency with content creation tools (Canva, video editing platforms) and social media scheduling tools (Buffer, Later, etc.).
Strong understanding of social media performance metrics and ability to adjust strategies based on data.
Ability to work efficiently within budget, managing outsourcing costs when needed.
Knowledge and comfort with leveraging AI tools for content creation and optimization.
Time Commitment:
Initial Phase (1-2 months): Min. 15-20 hours per week for content review, cleanup, and strategy implementation.
Ongoing Support: Reduced hours after initial setup (TBD based on performance and needs).
