Job description
Established in 2013, Quality of Life Counseling Center (QLCC) stands as a beacon of mental health support in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia. Our holistic approach addresses the diverse needs of individuals across physical, mental, emotional, and social dimensions, ensuring comprehensive care that fosters well-being on every level. We offer Intensive In-Home (IIH), Mental Health Skill Building (MHSS), Therapeutic Day Treatment (TDT), Outpatient Therapy (OT), and a host of other Community-Based services designed to support clients in achieving stability and personal growth.
We are currently seeking a Licensed or Licensed-Eligible Clinical Supervisor to provide supervision for staff providing these programs while also playing a vital role in expanding our services through marketing, community outreach, and strategic partnerships.
Clinical Supervision & Oversight
· Provide clinical oversight and supervision to Qualified Mental Health Professionals.
· Conduct assessments of individuals to determine eligibility for services clinical services.
· Conduct weekly and/or biweekly clinical supervision for program staff, ensuring proper clinical documentation, adherence to best practices, and professional growth.
· Review and approve clinical documentation (assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries) to maintain service integrity and compliance.
· Maintain an Outpatient caseload
· Assist in staff training and professional development to ensure high-quality service delivery.
· Ensure that all services are delivered in compliance with regulatory and licensing standards set by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) and other governing bodies in a timely manner.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Program Development & Growth
· Identify and build relationships with referral sources, including schools, hospitals, social service agencies, community organizations, and juvenile justice systems.
· Conduct presentations, workshops, and community events to educate stakeholders on available services and their benefits.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Must be a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or Licensed Eligible (Supervisee in Social Work or Resident in Counseling) in the state of Virigina.
· Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in mental health services, preferably in IIH, MHSS, and/or TDT settings.
· Supervisory experience preferred with a strong understanding of DBHDS and Medicaid regulations.
· Must stay current with state regulations, licensing requirements, and mental health trends to ensure the program’s ongoing compliance and effectiveness.

· Ability to motivate and lead a clinical team, ensuring compliance and high-quality service delivery through excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
· Strong marketing, outreach, and networking skills to build and maintain relationships with referral sources.

Compensation
· $30.00 – $33.00 per hour equivalent to $62,400 – $68,640
