DramaBox is a leading mobile TV series app owned by Dianzhong Technology. It is dedicated to creating captivating vertical mini-series series. Through innovative storytelling and high-quality production values, we provide audiences with unique entertainment experiences.

We seek aCo-Producerto join our team in Los Angeles for a contracted role on a single project, possibly extending the role into a full-time position based on performance. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong production management, creative insight, and leadership abilities to deliver high-quality vertical mini-series on time and within budget. A basic understanding of vertical storytelling and content creation is vital. Experience working on vertical shows is highly preferred—please highlight your previous vertical work and position in your resume.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the production team to support the Producer/Manager in executing high-quality productions within deadlines and budget.

Provide creative solutions to production challenges and ensure smooth project workflows.

Offer constructive creative feedback on scripts and work closely with the creative team to optimize key scenes and storylines.

Oversee the execution of visual proposals to ensure consistency with the project’s creative direction.

Monitor production quality on set, review dailies, ensure all coverage is captured, and maintain visual continuity.

Supervise the development of promotional materials, including posters and Behind-The-Scenes (BTS) content, ensuring alignment with marketing needs.

Manage budgets, negotiate contracts, handle payments, and organize documentation to maintain efficient operations.

Build a positive team culture, fostering collaboration and effectively addressing conflicts or challenges.

Develop and implement timelines and workflows to keep the production on schedule.

Regularly report project progress to the Producer/Manager, seeking guidance when needed.

Maintain awareness of emerging trends in vertical content and contribute ideas to enhance storytelling within this format.

Qualifications:

Education:Bachelor’s degree in Film Production or Producing (Master’s preferred).

Experience:At least 1 year of experience in the entertainment industry is highly preferred, especially with vertical storytelling or short-form content.

Skills:Proficiency in Adobe Suite, DocuSign, Microsoft Suite, Google Drive, Asana, and other organizational tools.

Language:Native or professional-level English; Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred.

Attributes:Strong communication skills, self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Location:Based in the Los Angeles area with reliable transportation and the ability to commute to our Glendale office and production sets.
