Summary of Job Duties:
This position works within the Marketing Communications team; by assisting the Marketing Services Manager with development, tracking, and reporting status of product promotional activities. Marcom Department admin responsibilities. Assigned graphic design tasks to support sales and product management. Oversees implementation of tradeshow planning activities.
Responsible for maintaining the sales support site (Mindwire) to support external and internal sales teams. Directly communicates new and updated sales tools releases to the North American field sales teams through the SFDC Chatter channel.
Qualifications Required:
Qualification 1: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Marketing, Advertising, or Business or related field from a four‑year college or university
Qualification 2: 0-3 years related experience in sales or marketing preferably in the heavy-duty vehicle, automotive or a related industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have Adobe Creative Suite software knowledge. SAP experience preferred.
Qualification 3: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information, participate in meetings at various levels, and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
Qualification 4: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Qualification 5: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret and summarize an extensive amount of data from numerous sources.
Qualification 6: Ability to use a personal computer, software/applications and other digital technology; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Point; working knowledge of Internet navigation, Microsoft Windows, Word, SharePoint.
Travel Requirements: Approximately 5% domestic; possibility for international travel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes but not limited to the following:

Supports and assists with other activities assigned by the Marketing Services Manager, as requested.
Accesses SAP customer data to support company website database requirements. Administers customer surveys and promotional emails to support sales activities.
Supports the Marketing Services Manager’s plans as directed with the trade show activities by working directly with the exhibit house vendor and show management personnel. Monitors, tracks and records Marcom budget expenses for trade shows/events, promotional campaigns and sales promotion items.
Supports sales personnel in requests for promotional sales information, or supplemental sales tools, including development of product PowerPoint presentations.
Maintains and updates SalesPoint.com to make company templates available to employees – including email signature, company PPT template, company letterhead template, etc.
Oversees, maintains and updates the online SAF-HOLLAND sales support tool (Mindwire) to meet the needs of sales team’s requirements for show/event assets, sales literature ordering, company store, wearables and gift items.
Assigned to perform graphic design tasks as directed by the Marketing Services Manager such as PowerPoint product sales presentations , product bulletins, part catalogs, promotional flyers and certificates.
Develop and execute social media posts to build and strengthen the SAF-HOLLAND’s voice within the trucking industry.
Miscellaneous (non-supervisory)
Acts as a good steward of the Company’s resources and exemplifies the values of the Company.
Ensures personal compliance with all Company policies, procedures, values, ethics, and rules.
Maintains and promotes a safe work environment through ownership of Company safety program. This includes following all safety rules/regulations and proper operating procedures, as well as the proper use of prescribed safety equipment pertinent to the department, and immediately reporting all accidents/incidents to supervisor.

Meets with supervisor at least once per year to review job performance using this job description as a basis for appraisal.
Maintains complete security and confidentiality of all Company records and employee data.
Maintains a clean, orderly and professional work environment.
Performs other miscellaneous duties as may be assigned.
