Spotlight Newspapers/Community Media Group, LLC is looking for a Full-time coordinator for its Delmar, NY office. The main function of the DMC is to generate advertising revenue from accounts in the company’s service areas. We are a small media company with a big mission. Our team makes things happen in our local communities.
Required Activity
Curate weekly newsletter in Mail Chimp platform.
Coordinate Digital fulfillment platform for CMG clients
Coordinate Digital analytics platforms
Coordinate News App platforms for marketing and content
Service advertising clients to generate incremental advertising revenue
Solicit potential advertising clients to generate new advertising revenue with consistent follow up
Process all administrative paperwork related to digital and print advertising insertions
Plan activities to maximize efficiency and sales while meeting activity requirements
Record and report sales and account contact as required by management
(Contact manager (ASK-CRM), calendar, run sheets, sales manifests)
Weekly group and individual sales meeting
Have Mobile and Computer access for daily contact and response for customer needs.
Attend company training when assigned.
Work at or represent the company at sponsored events.
Collections as needed
Review and mail invoices and statements for territory accounts.
Co-Manage CMG digital, newsletter and social media platforms.
Co-Manage CMG News distribution platforms.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge (after training)
Understand all Spotlight products
Administrative procedures required for digital and print ad insertions
Specific geographic/category specific territory
Reporting requirements for activities and sales
General understanding of the competitors in the marketplace
General sales skills and process
Understanding of Digital Management Tools (various platforms)
Understand content distribution platforms.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,000.00 – $51,000.00 per year
