The Specialist Digital & Social Media will work closely with the Manager Digital Marketing & Social Media to drive campaigns and enhance brand awareness through social media platforms. This role involves capturing content for all platforms, developing a content calendar, and supporting paid media efforts. The specialist will manage social media responses and provide digital support for social initiatives. Additionally, they will participate in marketing projects, including film production, core program creation, and large promotional projects.
Core Responsibilities:
Develop and curate engaging content for various social media platforms.
Assist in the creation and implementation of social media strategies.
Engage with followers, respond to comments, and manage online communities.
Monitor social media performance and prepare regular reports.
Proven track record of developing and executing paid social media campaigns.
Plan, assist, and execute social media campaigns.
Able to participate in and or direct video productions, core program creation and implementation, in addition to large promotional projects.
Work with marketing, design, and other teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
Stay updated on the latest social media trends and best practices.
Promote Palms and their values through social media channels.
Schedule posts and ensure consistent posting across platforms.
Identify and collaborate with influencers to enhance the Palm’s visibility.
Monitor competitors’ social media activities and strategies.
Use social media to promote events and engage with attendees.
Gather and integrate feedback from social media audiences to improve strategies.
Additional tasks and management support as needed.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience managing social media accounts for a business or a degree in a marketing-related field.
Experience in creating multimedia content, such as graphics, videos, and blog posts.
Skilled in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
Develop strong working relationships with social vendors to stay up to date with new advertising offers and opportunities.
Experience building, managing, and optimizing multiple content calendars and/or projects simultaneously.
Understanding of social branding and can show real-world examples.
Ability to back up strategy and recommendations with meaningful data.
Experience generating granular monthly reports for clients.
Strong organizational and planning skills, and keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience using social media management and planning tools.
Skill in face-to-face strategy discussions with clients and quick solution recommendations
Physical Demands:
Work is performed in a climate-controlled office setting.
Work requires travel to attend meetings, trade shows, and conferences.
May be required to work evening, weekends, and holiday shifts.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
Strength sufficient to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 40 pounds occasionally.
Sedentary work: involves sitting most of the time. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
Physical activities that apply to the essential functions of the position are balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
Ability to hear conversational levels in person, via videoconference and over the telephone sufficiently.
Speech sufficient to make oneself heard and understood in person, in front of groups, in meetings, via videoconference and over the telephone.
Visual acuity that meets the requirements of the position: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading and visual inspection of team members, visitors, or facility.
Mobility sufficient to safely move in an office environment, walk, stoop, bend and kneel, and enter, exit, and operate a motor vehicle during travel to promotional events, meetings, conferences, trade shows and San Manuel properties.
Endurance sufficient to sit, walk and stand for extended periods, and maintain efficiency throughout the entire work shift and during extended work hours.
The specialist may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles including secondhand smoke.
