About The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Communications & PR Manager for APAC to oversee and manage all communications and public relations efforts across the region. This role is critical to enhancing the visibility and reputation of Aptos Labs in APAC, ensuring that our messaging is consistent,impactful, and aligned with our global objectives. You will be responsible for managing media relations, crisis communications, and social media channels while ensuring that our brand is well-represented in the market.
You
will be directly responsible for:
Developing and implementing a comprehensivecommunicationstrategy tailored for the APAC region to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
Managing all media relations, including the development and distribution of press releases, media pitches, and handling media inquiries.
Overseeing crisis communications to mitigate risks and protect the brand’s reputation.
Managing and growing Aptos Labs’ social media presence across APAC, ensuring consistent and engaging content.
Collaborating closely with the Brand and Events Manager to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms and events.
Leading the creation of externalcommunicationcontent, including speeches, blogs, and newsletters.
Monitoring media coverage and providing regular reports to the global team oncommunicationefforts and media sentiment.
What you’ll work on:
Collaborate with Aptosleadershipand key stakeholders to craft and execute a robustcommunicationstrategy that aligns with the company’s goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers in the APAC region to maximize coverage opportunities.
Develop and implement crisiscommunicationprotocols, ensuring the company is prepared to respond effectively to potential PR issues.
Partner with the Brand and Events Manager to create and manage content for events, ensuring consistent brand messaging.
Provide strategic insights and feedback to Aptosleadershipto shapecommunicationstrategies and enhance the company’s public image.
Supportcross-functional teamswithcommunicationneeds, including crafting messaging for product launches, announcements, and internal communications.
Ensure allcommunicationefforts are aligned with global standards and tailored to the unique cultural and market dynamics of the APAC region.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field, preferably within the Web3 or technology sectors.
Proven track recordof developing and executing successfulcommunicationstrategies that enhance brand visibility and reputation.
Strong media relations skills with a network of contacts in the APAC region.
