Communications Specialist Jobs in Minneapolis, MN at University of Minnesota
Looking to hire a dynamic individual to assist a boutique financial planning firm with operations and marketing support. This position is currently 35 hours per week. The week ends Friday at 12 pm. I’m looking for an organized self-starter who can multi-task, is knowledgeable on the computer, familiar with social media and preferably has some corporate structure experience. Ideally, you are not just looking for a job, but more a career where you can look for opportunities to improve the business and get paid commensurate with your contributions as we grow the business. Responsibilities:
Coordinate marketing events and workshops
CRM software updates and maintenance
Maintain social media, website and email marketing campaigns
Confirm client and prospect appointments via phone
Send confirmation letters and/or emails
Update and maintain newsletters (digital and paper)
Complete new account paperwork
Track all income transfers
Handle customer calls and service needs
Other tasks as needed
Skills:
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Some knowledge of the financial world and terms is a huge plus
Must have great computer skills
Ability to watch training videos and learn independently
Digital media experience and knowledge
Attention to detail and the patience for paperwork
Warm and friendly demeanor with clients
Ability to know what needs to be done and do it without being spoon fed every task
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $27.50 per hour
