Job Overview

The Talent Manager plays a critical role in the day-to-day support and development of a roster of up to 30 talents, with a limit of 20 Tier 3 or higher talents. This position requires strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills to ensure each talent’s needs are met and their careers continue to grow. Availability outside of regular working hours is essential for assisting talents with urgent matters, last-minute activations, and any unexpected issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Roster Management
Manage and maintain relationships with up to 30 talents, ensuring no more than 20 of these are Tier 3 or higher.
Provide strategic guidance, career development planning, and day-to-day support to each talent.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Partnerships) to identify and negotiate potential sponsorships, partnerships, or brand deals.
Monitor talent performance and satisfaction, addressing concerns promptly to foster long-term growth and retention.
Communication & Availability
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned talents, maintaining open lines of communication through phone, email, and messaging platforms.
Be readily available beyond standard business hours, including weekends, to respond to urgent requests and provide immediate assistance.
Manage scheduling, activation details, and deliverables for talents to ensure campaigns and projects run smoothly.
Contract & Negotiation
Work alongside Senior Talent Managers or Lead Talent Managers to negotiate contract terms that align with both company and talent interests.
Ensure all agreements, renewals, and amendments are properly documented and executed.
Monitor contract fulfillment, verifying all deliverables are met on time and within scope.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Track key performance metrics (e.g., engagement, impressions, revenue generation) to gauge the impact of talent’s activities.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on talent projects, successes, challenges, and growth opportunities.
Identify areas for improvement and collaborate with talents to optimize strategies and performance outcomes.
Conflict Resolution & Problem-Solving
Act as the first point of escalation for any issues, disputes, or emergent challenges involving talents, sponsors, or campaign deliverables.
Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to swiftly resolve conflicts, maintaining professional relationships and minimizing disruptions.
Proactively identify and address potential risks, ensuring smooth campaign execution and positive talent experiences.
Talent Development & Growth
Conduct regular check-ins with talents to assess goals, review feedback, and align on upcoming opportunities.
Offer guidance on brand positioning, content strategy, and personal development that aligns with both the talent’s vision and market demands.
Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and platform updates to recommend innovative ideas that support talent growth.
Perform additional related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Talent Management, or a related field or equivalent work experience
Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in talent management, influencer marketing, or a related field
Experience working with various tiers of talent or clients, including high-profile individuals
Skills:
Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in CRM or talent management software, as well as standard office tools
Willingness to adapt to flexible schedules and quickly respond to real-time challenges

Physical Demands

Able to sit and/or stand for the duration of the workday
Able to use a keyboard, headset, and computer monitor for the workday

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range | $50,000 – $65,000 based on experience
