WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

The role demands creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and engage with staff at all levels. Education and experience in marketing, graphic design, or communications are crucial, along with strong software skills and a knack for design and proposal creation.

Once selected to join our team, you will:

Prepare and process Proposals & Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) using Adobe InDesign and maintain related databases with Microsoft SharePoint and Open Asset.
Provide comprehensive support for marketing operations, including both internal and external communications.
Maintain marketing database including new and completed project descriptions, resumes, photographs, and standardized templates.
Contribute to the development of marketing and business development materials and manage the creation of graphic images, logos, and other design elements.
Engage in the creation, updating, and assistance of company publications, including brochures, presentations, newsletters, magazines, white papers, etc., using Adobe Creative Cloud design software.
Write project description narratives for new and past projects and oversee the use of this information across various platforms.
Maintain and manage professional staff resumes and photos and assist with printed and electronic business development campaigns.
Create and update displays and signage for company events, trade shows, and career fairs.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

KNOWLEDGE:

Possess knowledge and ability to apply fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of marketing and business development.
Understand market needs within each discipline and market sector.
Have a thorough understanding of image formats and excellent writing and editing skills.

SKILLS:

Demonstrate strong software skills with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
Exhibit excellent graphic design skills from concept to production for both print and digital use.
Show proficiency in MS 365 applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Possess a strong level of creativity and ingenuity with an eye for detail.
Maintain strong communication skills, in-person, virtually, and in writing.
Be highly organized and capable of handling multiple priorities with competing deadlines.
Successfully engage all levels of staff in marketing activities, including consultants.

EXPERIENCE:

Have at least 2+ years of marketing/business development experience, preferably in the engineering/architecture/construction industry.
Previous experience with ERP software such as Deltek Vision.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field.
