The Marketing Associate is responsible for a variety of marketing and analysis activities for the area of assigned responsibility. This is a full-time position and reports to the Marketing Manager.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with marketing research, product launches, brand promotions, and test markets
Implement marketing campaigns, including product positioning, campaign strategies, and market insights
Attend product knowledge and marketing communication strategy meetings with the marketing team every week
Day to day updating of website content
Work with the marketing team to create social media campaigns and creative assets
Maintain resort social media sites to include the creation of timely and engaging content and graphics. Also, respond timely to social media questions/comments
Monitor website and other marketing-related data analytics
Take, edit and enhance digital photos and videos and handle posting to sites
Edit video footage to create marketing videos for use on multiple platforms
Identify marketing & business opportunities for revenue along with weaknesses in existing employed marketing strategies needing to be over-turned
Communicate with management on projects dealing with media relations, business communications, etc
Participate in staff and training meetings
Participate in other projects and activities as assigned
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, advertising, and/or journalism is preferred

Have a good design sense and an eye for appealing images

Familiar with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

Remain stationary for long periods
Walk and stand during occasionally during shift
Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop and wipe
Able to lift up to 20 lbs
Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, serve, etc
Ability to look at a computer monitor for extended periods
