Community Auctions is a for-profit company dedicated to supporting non-profit organizations by facilitating silent auctions featuring unique handcrafted sports and entertainment memorabilia. Our mission is to help raise funds for non-profits across the country by showcasing these one-of-a-kind items in host businesses. Through consumer participation in our auctions, we aim to contribute to meaningful causes and make a positive impact in communities.
Boxed Memories is the production facility, handcrafting the sports and entertainment memorabilia that Community Auctions sells.
FrameFly is a new line of business that Boxed Memories is launching. FrameFly is focused on offering custom framing options for families looking to turn moments into memories.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing & Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our social media presence across various platforms, creating engaging content, and driving our online marketing efforts to boost product sales and enhance our company’s reputation. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for non-profit work and a talent for crafting compelling narratives that resonate with our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Manage and maintain our social media accounts on platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and others as relevant.
Create and curate content that highlights our mission, showcases our unique memorabilia, and recognizes our partners.
Monitor and respond to social media interactions, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns in a timely manner.
Content Creation and Curation:
Design and produce engaging posts, graphics, and videos to promote our brands, highlight accomplishments, and express gratitude to stakeholders.
Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop content calendars and campaigns that align with our organizational goals and key events.
Craft compelling stories and updates that reinforce our mission
Reputation Management:
Monitor online mentions and manage our online reputation.
Address any negative feedback or issues professionally and promptly, ensuring a positive brand image.
Marketing Campaigns:
Develop and implement text and email marketing campaigns to drive sales and engage with our audience.
Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Track key performance metrics for social media and marketing campaigns.
Prepare regular reports on engagement, reach, and sales performance to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and inform future actions.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the senior leadership team to align social media efforts with broader business objectives.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging and persuasive content.
Experience with text and email marketing tools, and analytics platforms.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
Passion for non-profit work and a commitment to our mission.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
Previous experience in marketing, content creation, and social media management
Previous experience sales and ecommerce
