Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated, dynamic, and highly organized Modeling Agent to join our growing agency. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and representing models, securing contracts, and developing strong relationships with top agencies, brands, and industry professionals. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the modeling industry, excellent negotiation skills, and a strong network of industry contacts.
Responsibilities
Model Representation:
Represent and manage a roster of models, ensuring they are developed, promoted, and placed in top modeling agencies, fashion shows, commercial campaigns, and photo shoots.
Scouting & Recruitment:
Actively scout and recruit new models by attending events, reviewing applications, and leveraging social media platforms. Evaluate model potential based on appearance, professionalism, and marketability.
Negotiating Contracts:
Negotiate and finalize contracts for models, ensuring favorable terms for both the model and the agency. This includes securing modeling gigs, agency placements, and work with photographers, designers, and brands.
Networking & Building Relationships:
Cultivate and maintain strong, professional relationships with major modeling agencies, fashion brands, designers, casting agents, and photographers. Establish a reputation as a trusted intermediary between models and the industry.
Client Liaison:
Work closely with clients, including brands, photographers, designers, and other agencies, to place models in suitable projects. Act as the point of contact between the models and their clients to ensure smooth communication and logistics.
Model Career Management:
Provide ongoing career guidance to models, including portfolio development, photo shoot preparation, and advice on how to best navigate the industry. Monitor the progress of models and provide feedback for improvement.
Contract and Payment Management:
Ensure that models are paid promptly and correctly by managing contracts, commissions, and payments. Handle any issues related to payments or contract disputes, ensuring a transparent and professional approach.
Marketing and Promotion:
Collaborate with the agency’s marketing team to promote models through social media, portfolio updates, and other platforms. Help position models in the best possible light to attract top-tier clients.
Industry Knowledge & Trends:
Stay up-to-date on current modeling trends, fashion industry changes, and new opportunities in the market. Understand the needs of different modeling sectors (e.g., commercial, high fashion, runway) and tailor strategies accordingly.
Travel & Logistics Coordination:
Help coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and other logistics for models traveling for shoots or assignments. Ensure that all necessary permits and work-related documents are in order.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in either sales, modeling agency representation, talent management, or fashion-related fields.
Proven track record in successfully negotiating contracts and securing placements for models in top agencies or with leading clients.
Established network of contacts within the fashion, modeling, and entertainment industries.
Strong communication, negotiation, sales and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to promote models and secure opportunities.
Knowledge of modeling industry standards, trends, and agencies.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Fashion, or a related field preferred, but not required.
A passion for the fashion and modeling industries.
High levels of professionalism and discretion when working with models, clients, and other stakeholders.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for casting calls, shoots, or client meetings.
Sales experience required.

Commission-based compensation, typically ranging from 10-20% depending on experience and placement success.
Performance-based bonuses for securing high-profile contracts or achieving goals (optional).

Pay: $3,826.24 – $4,607.94 per month
