Community Marketing Specialist Jobs in Sandusky, OH at Family Health Services

The Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) seeks a motivated marketing professional to manage the association’s marketing efforts. The Marketing Manager will work with all relevant ISBA departments to plan, execute and track effectiveness of the marketing of all ISBA products, services and events. The Marketing Manager also places all house and paid advertising in ISBA publications and ensures that house and paid advertisements are properly placed prior to the dissemination of the publications. The Marketing Manager also manages the ISBA’s job posting service. This position is based in the Springfield headquarters of the ISBA and requires a minimum of 2 days in-office work. Pay within the stated range is dependent on qualifications and experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Develop, write, and implement marketing plans for ISBA programs, services, events, products, and general bar activities.
Monitor, analyze, and report results for all marketing efforts using modern analytics-based methods.
Develop and implement marketing strategies, including target market selection and market segmentation, product positioning, and pricing. Ensure that opportunities for cross-selling are created between and among ISBA products and services.
Perform environmental analysis of the products and services offered by the ISBA, a process that includes: (1) analyzing product and service competitors, among them other bar associations; and (2) conducting written/electronic surveys, focus groups, and other research methods necessary to assess the needs and desires of ISBA members and the legal market in general.
Perform market analysis to determine market potential for ISBA products/services, market size, market growth patterns, sales forecast, etc.
Administer and oversee administration of delivery of ISBA broadcast email.
Place paid advertising (sold by the Advertising Sales Manager) in the proper ISBA publications.
Place house advertising in the proper ISBA publications.
Ensure paid and house advertising is properly placed in ISBA publications before the dissemination and/or publication of those publications.
Manage the Job Target member benefit, which includes preparing and sending the bi-weekly Job Target email

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong oral and written (including copywriting) communication skills
Excellent work ethic
Excellent organizational skills—must be able to manage multiple projects at once
Ability to manage time and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work well in a team setting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
Significant experience with data analytics
Significant experience with email delivery platforms

REQUIREMENT

A bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or a related field of study and a minimum of 2 years marketing experience .

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

Perform in-office work, which is primarily sedentary in nature. Other than the ability to occasionally travel on ISBA business, no special physical demands are required.
