Job Overview
The Community Relations Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing the organization’s presence within the community. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that foster positive relationships with community stakeholders, including support coordinators, local schools, group homes, non-profits, and residents. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for developmental disabilities and community engagement, ensuring that the organization’s mission is effectively conveyed and supported.
Duties

Develop and execute community outreach programs to promote the organization’s initiatives and community support programs.
Build and maintain relationships with support coordinators, families, and community partners.
Educate parents on the services available to their adult children with disabilities.
Conduct market research to identify community needs and opportunities for collaboration.
Build and maintain relationships with media representatives to enhance media relations.
Collect and analyze research data to inform strategic planning efforts.
Deliver presentations and public speaking engagements to various audiences.
Collaborate with business development teams to identify partnership opportunities within the community.
Utilize social media marketing strategies to engage the community and promote events.
Experience
Candidates should have experience in the following areas:
Servicing individuals with developmental disabilities.
Sales techniques that foster relationship building and community engagement.
Market analysis skills that support informed decision-making.
Connecting with agencies, schools, and organizations to

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $65,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
